In yellow nail syndrome, nails thicken and new growth slows. Yellow or green nails may also result from any condition that causes the growth of your nails to slow down.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#993300;"&gt;Pitting-&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; Seen in people with psoriasis or nail injuries.
